Studying abroad!

I recently posted this in the college forum, but thought I would post here also, since AH always seems to have a lot more people!

It's been awhile since I have been on this site, lol!
I do have a few questions though! I looked at Arcadia studying abroad prices...and OMG, I can def get the money through loans and such, but I was wondering if there is a cheaper program I can go through?
Also, can I go through one of these programs but not do their housing price and find my own place to stay! For one year without housing, would probably be 20,000 *has a mortified face* but I know this is worth it.
This is where, hopefully, I can utilize this board and help to find someone to stay with, with a female by the way!
I currently go to college for pre-nursing, but I am changing to Arts and Social Sciences, with a Minor in International studies!
    Any information would be wonderful

Not fond of going to any other places in Europe, except maybe Germany where my friend lives, but that is it! It's either Ireland or Germany! lol

I wasn't thinking about doing this until the spring semester of 2013, a ways off, but still want to start planning of course!

I'm no expert but apply to the colleges directly

    have a look at UCD - http://www.educationireland.ie/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=284&Itemid=100341

    Arts & Humanities - €9,100 - €15,500

Apply for a student Visa too -

If you transfer you'd probably have to start in first year again though.
