    Hi all,

Firstly very sorry if this is a really stupid question! I bought this tv:

    http://m.lg.com/uk/tv-audio-video/televisions/LG-lcd-tv-32LK450U.jsp

a few weeks ago and I was wondering if it already has freeview could I just buy a satellite dish and use it to receive the freesat channels or I completely in the wrong?

    Any advice appreciated!

    Thanks

You should be able to get Saorview on it ok, its on their list:
    http://www.saorview.ie/products-retailers/saorview-approved-product-listings/lg/

However, few TVs have built-in Freesat tuners/receivers.

Panasonic make great Fressat TV's...... I have a 42" Plasma one myself!!
I have Freesat with all the UK channels and Saorview with all the Irish Ones.
Bonus is that I have a hard drive plugged into the back so I can record programs similar to Sky+ through the EPG from both Freesat and Saorview.
(I say similar to Sky+, big difference is that you can only record one program at once..... but hey it's great for something that costs €0/month)
