Earlier on in the presidential race, Sean Gallagher made it a point to say that he wasn't going to be distributing leaflets to everyone in Ireland and that it would save so many millions of Euro. he even tried to get other nomanees to pledge to join himin nod distributing leaflets, so i'm more than a little surprised that five of them were waiting in the letter-box today.

So, did he lie or change his mind?

No he said he'd put up no posters and that all candidates should do a single leaflet between them. He said nothing about not sending out leaflets if the other candidates didn't want to do the single leaflet idea.

He said he wouldn't put up posters, which he hasn't.

Not a fan of his but fair play to him for keeping his work. It's horrific to see how every road and village in the country is plastered by these ugly things (and they are allowed up to a month afterwards!).

And why do they see the need to put a poster every 10 feet???????????:mad::mad::mad:

As nesf has said, he wanted to share a leaflet, the rest didn't agree.

    In case you forget. :)

You think the average voter wants to remember the politicians?

Saw his face on them, tore the leaflets up, didn't read them. No further thought.

There wasn't anything worth reading on them tbh.
Much like all of the others that I've received so far!

I've actually placed my recycling bin beside the front door with instructions to the postman to cut out the middleman. My grandson gets the Beano every week and that's enough to satisfy my need for comic fantasy.
