    Ok, my boyfriend's birthday is Friday and I do have a lovely red dress.

    the only thin g is that I never wear red!!
    I've got a nice pair of black shoes and I bought a clutch in pennys (black)
    to go with the dress .... but the thing i'm worried about is what colour coat i should wear!!!

    I'm not gonna be drinking that night .... but what will i do with my coat in a pub?

    If you don't wear red then why do you have a lovely red dress?
    Just wear it, it'll be fine.
    Put your coat on a seat or whatever. I'm sure you won't be putting it down and then going to a different part of the pub, just keep in view.
