iOS5 - Meteor - MMS/APN broken ?

Tried to send an MMS on my unlocked ip4 on iOS 5 using a Meteor SIM
Was working fine but now giving errors.
Went to edit the APN settings (like I did before to get it to work) - guess what ?

Looks like Apple have disabled editing APN settings for non-approved carriers !


Has anyone come across this ? or a fix ?

Found this but not sure about it - I only want to add an APN for MMS

meteor is an approved carrier, apn editing is available by the default but when the carrier file is loaded it gets blocked with some carriers, this is at the choice of each carrier

first off i'd try reset network settings and after that ring meteor
settings>general>reset

I tried that reset - will have to ring I suppose.

maybe MMs has to be activated on your account.

APN settings are not blocked by apple, they are un-editable when you install the network carrier file.

not all networks block it iirc, it's still editable on O2

I've had this account for months now and not a bother with MMS before now.

Will have the same problem I have a prepaid iPhone 4s with AT&T n was able to sent picture but now I only get data that's about it!!! With APN n befor I wall able to get all this feature with

Is anyone knows how to set manualy or do it with itunes wap settings on iPhone 4 with iO5 ?

Select "Custom APN"
Then select Ireland and Meteor, and follow the instructions.
