I was going to buy the acer timelinex but its all sold out! Its for college and travel so i dont want to be carrying a brick around in my bag. Can anyone recommend a similar laptop? I'm looking for a slim laptop, i3, 3-4Gb Ram, 300+hard drive, 14in screen with good battery life for around 500euro? Anyone got any…

There's a TimelineX 14" i3 3gbRam 320HDD for E450 including delivery. (It's open box which means you don't get Acer's 12 months warranty but the website do a 12 month refund return themselves to make up for it.)

Or similar model TimelineX 14" with the Acer warranty and a USB3 port for E550.

Or 4GB RAM version of above for 570 inc delivery.
