Advice on Garden Sheds

I'm currently looking around for a garden shed and I'm looking for advice on whether a steel shed or a wooden shed would be better and also does anyone recommend any companies.

The shed will mostly be used for storing sticks, turf and a lawnmower so it doesn't need anything special.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Thanks. No not looking for anything special. Just somewhere to keep stuff for the fire and a lawnmower.

Think it was Ballyfree Garden Sheds we got ours from - a wooden one. One thing worth asking wherever you do get it from is whether they have any display sheds to sell. We got a display one from Ballyfree, perfect condition and got a big discount off the price so well worth it!

Thanks will keep that in mind about the display models.

Anyone know what the advantages are of the different types of wooden sheds like the different board types.

You need to determine what type of shed best suits your needs and budget. There are a myriad of styles, finishes and sizes to choose from.

Plenty of cheap and cheerful lapped board (about as durable as cardboard) type wooden sheds, but you'd be wiser and better off to buy a pressure treated shiplap boarded shed. Cost a little extra but lasts a lot longer. Nailed not stapled and galvanised fittings (hinges/bolts) are also important.

see if you can get torch on felt on the roof instead of that cheap mineral felt. will cost a few quid but well worth it imo.
