Folks, will be moving out of my current house in 3 weeks, is that enough notice to give in order to get deposit back?

Did you sign a tenancy agreement? If so, that will tell you if it's enough notice or not.

If it's a fixed term lease the lease will tell you how close to the end of the lease you should notify them of your intention to leave.

If it's a part 4 tenancy (no formal lease and nothing specific agreed about notice periods), the notice periods are covered here: http://www.threshold.ie/page.asp?menu=74&page=256
