    Aside from Gumtree and Freecycle she could try looking at the classifieds on lfgss (London Fixed Gear and Single Speed), re-cycling, pre-loved or going-going bike.

    Of those lot re-cycling seems to be her best bet, it also seems to be run a bit like Rothar.

    YACF.co.uk have a classified section and my sister picked up a nice racer for almost nothing there in London. I think you have to be registered to see the Classifieds section though.
