How do I try to get my music out there

    I love to sing and I was thinking of recording some audio takes of me singing some cover versions, which I would hope sound interesting enough for people to listen to, I am a little shy about my music but I would like to know what is the best way to go about releasing it to the listening public. Also I have a song which I have written and which is semi produced to a fairly high standard, this song is one which I would really like the right person/s to develop an interest in, and perhaps it would get signed and further produced and be successful. I would really appreciate some advice and direction with this. Thank you!

    Youtube, its how a lot of people are doing it these days. Keep puting more videos of yourself onto youtube and eventualy if your any good you may be found like Justin Bieber was

    Yes, good advice. I was also wondering especially with regard to the song I wrote, would it be advisable to go with ITunes, of which I know nothing about, but I suppose I want to be protective of ownership when it comes to material which I own.thank you!
