tryin to join gun club is there a deadline

    well lads is there a deadline to when u have to submite an applacation form for a gunclub or does it very from club to club, or can you join anytime i have an app for a club but the contact no i have is not rite no for guy im lookin for,:confused: i dont know anybody in the club, is there any lad here (westmeath area) a member of baltrasna gc here that can let me know please send me a p.m :confused::confused: thanks regards p.s

    I think this Thursday is the last day for payments into the fund so you would want to get your skates on if you want to be covered for this season.

    Alot of clubs wont take membership now till after the season for obvious reasons. Normally Membership is at the AGM

    what is the obvious reason? not been smart, but made a request to the local club last week and got a "membership closed" response today. have a gun and was just looking to do a bit of vermin control, not into eating game so shooting it has no appeal to me

    most clubs wont let people in this close to the season as all the hard work is nearly over, with raising birds feeding releasing etc and dont want people that have no work done shooting birds they havent worked for, at least thats it with the club im in
