0.7 mm should be very good stuff, must of the sheds you see advertised are .55 or 0.6

shed will hold 58 cubicles for heifer calves from 6months old plus-same size as the old shed beside it-
put a crush in between the two sheds for ai purposes- cubicles and crush area are 8inchs higher than feeding passage at front for scrapers going in different directions-old shed has slatted tank

concrete is costing 13500+vat scrapers 7500+vat cubicles and crush 5500inc vat mats 3000inc vat shed 10600+vat

works out about 800/cubicle inc crush and handling area020tm.jpg

Thanks for the pics Stan, can you give the dimensions of the cubicles. I want to do something similar as heifers are straw bedded for the first winter now but would prefer cubicles.

€7.5k for scrappers, what did you get for this? Thanks

Steel sheeting has gotten very expensive in the last few years whereas fibre cement has gotten allot cheaper. Have a shed going up in a few weeks with this stuff on it http:/www.svk.be/en/roof/corrugated_sheets_intro
