When i push the button to start, it has to crank an extra couple of times before it fires up.
Got a diagnostics check done and was told it was all clear.
I'm thinking either injectors or glow plugs.
Has anyone come across this before?
How do the glow plugs work on these. When do they start heating?
    Thanks

Long crank could be a fuel pump (HPFP??) or starter motor either?

Thanks. Do fuel pumps give problems on these models do you know?

The electronic control system on those is so sensitive that if there was any issue, with any component, a fault/code would have been stored.

Does it ever not start? How many time do you think it should turn over before it starts?
