    Hi

I was looking at the Cube SL Cross Comp Hybrid , turns out they have just replaced it with the 2012 model.

It looks like there will be limited stock of this bike for the new year but i was looking to get something in the next week or so as my previous bike was stolen.

Bar a few cosmetic changes i cant see any difference in the two bikes.

With this in mind i was going to buy the 2011 model at a reduced price from CRC for €521.80

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=57225

the new bike when released will be €679.

Anyone any thoughts , should i hold out?
Am i better off buying from a local store?
I haven't bought from Chain reaction Cycles before , anyone know what they are like to deal with?

    Thanks in advance

    Eoin

The spec doesnt seem to have changed. Id go with the cheaper crc option. They are fine to deal with but had some credit card issues in the last year. Use papal and ur safe. Cyclesuperstoe will give a free service, that is the only advantage of buying if them that I could see, but not worth the extra imo.

Don't buy a hybrid, get a drop bar commuter instead. Faster, more comfortable and versatile too.

i kinda have my head and heart set on the cube.

is there much assembly required after buying a bike from chain reaction?

No you basically just have to straighten the handlebars and put pedals on, if they come with it.
