Evening all. Bit of a strange one possibly.

06 Octavia, and sometimes there's a knock/ bang from the near side rear suspension when going over a bump. It seems to occur most often when turning left as I go over a bump.

I know it's asking alot from such vague information, but any suggestions?

And I'm fairly sure it's not something in the boot thats causing the noise.

As always, any advice/ opinions greatly appreciated.

Could be a bushing or could be a shock

Gonna do a bit more of an inspection tomorrow. Bit too cold and wet to go looking this evening.

Just as a bit of additional information, there are plastic spigot rings on with the alloys. If it was cracked/ damaged, would it be possible for it to cause this noise?

not unless the wheel was loose. Even a broken piece of plastic inside the wheel hub wouldn't make any audible noise, not from inside the car anyway.

Have been in touch with the good Doctor (Nissan), and gonna drop it over to him to have a look, and diagnose the issue.
