Conversion from WPP to JobBridge

Just wondering if anyone has had the experience of converting their WPP to a JobBridge placement? My host organisation applied to do this on my behalf back in July, and we heard nothing about it until we chased it up last week. FAS said that they had a large backlog, but that despite this, they would not be offering backpay of the extra 50 euro per week back to when we first sent in the application. So this means that I thought I would be getting c. 600 euro in backpay for the 12 weeks since we sent it in, but now I won't. They also said that since I'm due to finish up the placement in a month's time, that in order to qualify for the extra money, I would have to sign up to do a brand new 6 month JobBridge placement with the organisation. When I applied to convert, the terms said that as long as there was at least 3 months left to complete the placement, that conversion would be fine, and in July, I did have over 3 months left! I've agreed to sign up for the other 6 months, (it's better than doing nothing, and maybe I'll get squatter's rights here!) I still feel I'm owed the backpay though, esp as it's FAS's own fault they have a backlog. Has anyone had theirs backpaid? Would really appreciate any advice!

tray taking a complaint to the ombudsman for backpay- this wont be quick
be careful the ombudsman cant deal with pay and conditions
so you need to stressits a complaint of loss consequent on a fas delay
