    Hi All,

I am currently in the final year of my Degree which will exepmt me from ACCA papers F1-F8. I will finish my Degree in May and was considering taking F9 in June (i know this may sound a lil crazy as i will be studying for 6 subjects for my Degree exams aslo at the same time but one of my subjects uses the F9 syllabus anyway so i was thinking it may be doable....maybe im dillusionalrolleyes.gif) just to have all the F papers completed, as i plan on going travelling then in July.

However as i will only get my exam results in June i assume its not possilbe for me to take F9 without having both proof of completion of my degree and payment of exemptions?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? i know i could always wait until December and take some papers in Oz....if i decide to settle down there for a few months!!! but studying whilst trying to experience a new place does not sound fun!biggrin.gif

My advise would be to leave it until later to do F9. It's one of the more difficult of the F papers IMO and it would be a pity to (a) take it and fail or (b) impact your degree results by spreading yourself too thin. The other thing to take into consideration is that it won't speed up you completing your ACCA exams. Having 5 or 6 remaining, either way it's a minimum of two or three exam sessions given that the max number you can take per sitting is 4 exams.

You also have the 3 years PER to complete. I don't think one exam is going to make a huge difference.

You can't register with the ACCA until you complete your degree as they will look for proof that you hold the degree before they allow you to register and claim your exemptions
