    Help

In the last couple of months I have lost my 5.1 sound from my skybox going through my Denon 1910 Amp . I have tried everything from changing the optical lead to actually swapping to a coaxial connection , I know both the sky box and amplifier are set correctly to output audio through the amplifier but all I can get now is "stereo" , if I set the amp to output dolby digital I no longer get any sound at all and have to reset it back for stereo sound. I know there have been issues with sky boxes and certain amplifiers in the past but this setup previously worked , I am also connected to a Sony 40w4500 and I have tried every possible setup at this stage and tried every tip from " Batpig" .
I have also forced an update of my Sky box but to no avail, is it possible my Sky Box is on its way out and has stopped broadcasting in Dolby Digital ( has anyone else experienced this) or is my Denon amp which can be temperamental at times the culprit,
ps amp has no issues with any other source just sky

    Any suggestions

    Thanks

Depends on what program you are watching.

Joules Holland has dd 5.1 but I noticed the Tuesday program last week was only 2.1 . Fridays was 5.1.

No the program being broadcast isn't the culprit , I have stopped getting 5.1 from every channel ie Sky Movies, Sports etc which are mostly broadcast in DD
