Is it a CD key/s? Steam? Disks? Looks like a real bargain!

Never bought off them.. but think it's download via the Gamergate application (similar to Steam).

Am sure someone who's bought off GG can fill you in better though.

Em. Ive bought off of them before. You get the games tied to your gamersgate account. When you click download you download a little app/.exe that when you run it, will download the game for you and install it too for you. Think you'll need to be able to log into the app before the download of the game starts.

Some games can be registered on Steam if they are on this list. but I dont think any of the GTA games can be registered.

I havent used them in over a month so I dont know if there is a desktop client, but as far as I know there isnt. Everything is organised through the website.

Also, you earn blue coins (a gamersgate currency) for reviewing games, answering questions/problems in the 'forums' etc which can be spent on other games. I recently got Saints Row 2 from the blue coins I had earned which I was able to register with Steam. I was also to register some of my EA games that I have bought from them with Origin if that's your cup of tea too.

For anyone interested: All GTA's bar IV will play on anything that's new and up to 4 years old. GTA IV just about runs on Intel HD and above. JUST.

Does GTA4 and its episodes require GFWL to run?

GTA 4 does. I'm not entirely sure about the episodes. But I assume they would.

They do but you can obtain a file called xliveless.dll, it stops the game from running GFWL ingame

If you're a bit of a skinflint (nothing wrong with that..) and just want a **free** refresher of the early games.

Rockstar have Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2 for download here:
