JSA Means Test

Looking for some advise on this....

I was told by someone at my local social welfare branch that while I did qualify for JSB, I would receive a reduced rate as my salary in the relevant tax year was below the cut off for receiving the full weekly payment. I was given a means test form to fill in for the JSA.

My situation is that Ive recently been made redundant, 26 and am currently living with parents (both of whom only receive a state pension) It seems I have to account for anyone living in the house with me and their incomes.

Will this affect my JSA application and lead to a reduction in rate also?

As you are over 24 years of age your parents income will not be taken into account, you are still required to give those details to the dept.
