    just wondering lads whats the oldest dog still out there working in the field mine auld fella is pushing 11,11 brilliant years next month and after a half day hes done 4 the day but he still loves it.so whats yer storys would love to hear them;)

    Might be nice if we knew the breed as well. I would think the hpr group might last longer or would they? What have you got mate?

    Jesus i have springers myself, very impressed with a 11 year old springer doing half a day. I really do think thats brill. I am obsessed with springers, fecking love them. Any chance of a pic at any Stage?

    I have an 11 year old GWP who is still going strong. I only got her last year but she has seen 100's maybe 1000's of deer shot. Set a prickett this morning in heavy timber at 150 yards, one of several that wouldnt have made it into my cold room before I had her. Will never stalk deer without a dog again, adds a new dimension to the sport.

    smashing looking dog berreta:) great to see he still goin,hope u have many more years with him,he is big lad all rite,my own springer bitch is as big,i was wandering why she was so big and blocky compared to my mates springers, an old timer said its because she is a proper ess,:confused: her mother an father where huge, its great to see an older dog still goin hope i get that long with mine:D:D

    lad he is huge. i have too springers myself they are only 17 months and 8 months so if i get close to 11 years out of both of mine i will be very happy.

    my old girl is pushing 12 I think, will have check the diary :rolleyes:

    deerhound/greyhound/collie cross lurcher, no interest in foxes anymore but will point, track and pin deer all day long:D
