Here's how to get to the mast in picture form.

Or head for Flagstaff and do the back roads that take you into Newry and come back via Ravensdale. Its easy enough to get lost, but you'll never be that far from Carlingford, it being on a peninsula.

Petethedrummers is a tough one, but very rewarding. Any of the routes up to the long womans grave are not as hard and have good views too. Hard to do any kind of distance up there without encountering hills

Well technically the views from the Long Woman's grave are terrible. That's why she died. Some guy took a tall(long) woman up the mountain and in an effort to woo her, told her that everything she could see from a particular point he owned. She got all excited. They got to that point and she could see nothing so duly keeled over and died.

    I ain't saying she a gold digga.....
