    Looking at it in excel, (Fair play Gerry). It makes you look at clubs over 1000 euro and wonder is that day gone.

    Only 17 out of 65 are > 1000 euro.

    Yes, 'm only looking at anything under that now, take care to verify the subs from the clubs and there are many different type of subs these days. Travel costs are now significant and are going to get worse.

    Gerry you are a loss to the accountancy profession....or are you an accountant?

    Fair play to you for putting this together.

    How much more enjoyable is it to get to the club in 5 minutes, have your game a scoot home again in another 5 minutes?

    Just as a by the way, whats the catch with the Hibernian Club - are there restricted hours you can play? Seems like a very good deal otherwise, 300 to play the Smurfit course in the K Club.

    Nice work Gerry. I agree on the travel costs - I switched this year to a club that's 3 times as close to me, albeit more expensive than my previous club, but the time saved in travel aswell as fuel saved did help sway things.

    that looks like the full price for moate for people joining in their first year. They probably have distance membership options though. I know Athlone has ( and we're only 10 minutes up the road from moate too! :D )

    Re highlighting changes – Would love to - I’m sure it’s possible (given time, effort, etc.) but I’m doing the best I can right now to provide updated info from websites.
    That’s somewhat more up to date than you’ll find on sites like mygolfmembership.ie or gui.ie.
    Much easier find rates on websites now than just over a year ago – I guess most clubs are finally realising that they need to make it as easy as possible for new members to join.

    Could shorten list by restricting it to Dublin clubs only (that currently have rates on their sites) and then sort by date of latest rates on websites (as opposed to alphabetic order).
    Notes, highlights, etc., are possible but would take too much time to do.

    Your suggestion is simple, makes sense and is understood.
    Unfortunately, I would not find it that simple to implement.
    Just take a quick look at the GUI and mygolfsociety sites - they don't highlight changes.

    Just one question where did you get your info on the reduction in Bray GC. Their site still appears to ask for €5k?

    Good question, Martin ....... Oops, 2012 figure quoted for Bray = Premium Clubhouse membership €588 + €100 social levy,+GUI / Ins. incls 15 green fees + Pay & Play thereafter.:)
