    Hi all,

Was driving through my local village and town this evening and Saturday nite mass was on and there were cars just parked every where. At some spots it was hard to pass. Some cars parked on double yellow lines. There were left too near junctions making hard to see on coming traffic. Me myself think this is a joke, Why should they park there cars illegally to go and talk to their imagery friends?. Every car parked illegally should get a ticket. And if they can do it can I illegally can go to the pub.??? ( i know too wrongs are not a right)

    Have some respect.

They need to go to Saturday night mass otherwise they'll have to miss their golf tomorrow.

It's funny because the thread title can mean two things and the thread is about both those things.

I thought we were to believe no one goes to mass anymore ?

True that, I've often seen lots of folks hiding out smoking a cigarette in their cars while mass in on. They go, wait the required duration in the car then head back home again. It's truly baffling.

Well you are the clever ones the perfect examples of the new tolerant secularists.I would say with Athiests like you lot it wont take long for the Church to have a huge revival but then isnt that what always happens

If there's one thing secularists are intolerant of.... it's inconsiderate parking

Yeah because complaining about lousy parking jobs and the systematic cover up of the raping of countless children are totally comparable.

Rapeing children is certainly not good but slaugthering millions in gulags in Russia,Cambodia China or any of the other athiestic paradises we have had in the recent past is i would say a hell of alot worse.
we wont even start with the GDR,romania,Cuba etc you guys are truly paragonms of virtue all right.

Sorry dude but I'm gonna have to call you out on this shameful attempt at logic. You can't use Stalin etc. as a stick to bash modern secularism with as that have nothing to do with each other.
However the cover up of rape and the modern Catholic Church....

Indeed, the important thing is that our presence allows you to feel good and moral about yourself. Glad to be of assistance. You see, whether you like it or not, you guys need us. We're your ying or is it yang? Oh brother! Zounds I am undone, in these ephemeral words I say to you now, for I shall not say it again, although I might but not in such eloquent prose as I do now, you've clearly confused communism and/or socialism with secularism. It may strike you with great aghast, nay I say wonder, perhaps splendour? To find that they are entirely different things. Secularism, is the beauty of neutrality of the state from religion, china on the other hand is the equivalent of adopting the state as the religion. It is also of course a form of beautiful pottery that inspires the soul of any true romantic.

Where I'm surly and matter of fact, he's gone insane and thinks he's some sort of poet.

Oh okay, technically you can use Stalin etc. as a stick to bash modern secularism if you really want to. Perhaps i should have said, "You can't use Stalin etc. as a stick to bash modern secularism... without looking like you have little or no idea what you are talking about."
    oh dear . . . you're attempting to diverge . . again . . .tut . .tut

Oh Gee thanks, praise at last. I always knew someone would warm to me eventually. All my life filled with rejection the void, especially after I lost Jesus, I tried you know, I really tried. Paper after paper, journal after journal, they all turned me down, but you, you believe in me bro AND I BELIEVE IN YOU! ! ! Are we not lonely rivers floating out to see? Home is where I wish we were headed, but you see, you don't understand it is like a ghost. Secularism is not what you think it is, nor am I the artist you think I am but thanks for attempting to boost my self esteem.

    Love and peace bro,
    Malt

Now, why do you suppose there was so many cars there ?

Surely such a problem is beyond the scope of a quadratic equation? Perhaps when you die you can be reincarnated as a partial differential one?
