    This is the low-down:

I have, in my refrigerator, at this moment:

    1 x 500ml can of Guinness
    1 x 440ml can of Carling
1 x 330ml bottle of Kopparberg Pear Cider
    2 x 300ml bottles of Budweiser

I which order does After Hours think I should drink them?

Dear god you'll have a sore tum and bum tomorrow after drinking all that much lol!

I suggest stick with the two beers or just the cider or just Guinness!

That concoction send you to never ever land.

In order of heaviness: Bud, Carling, Guinness, then nice refreshing kopparberg to seal the deal.

First things first - do you have something slightly larger than a litre and a half that you could comfortably drink from?

Yep best to start with the two different beers, then the cider as they are similar and then the guinness as its stout!

I have a pair of tartan wellies that I bought (and last wore for 3 days solid) at Electric Picnic 2009 out in the utility room.

    Reverse order, for ascending volume.

Can't make snakebite with pear cider, surely?

Grape after grain so obviously Kopparberg last. Drink in order of heaviness so your stomach finds it easiest to deal with the layers. Bud is watery piss so obviously those two are just before the cider, then Carling, which means the can of Guinness to start.

yeah I know cider isn't grape but reckon rule applies to all fruity type drinks.

First of all don't drink the Budweiser. Be aware that it's Budweiser and should not be consumed.

Secondly, drink the Carling, preferably while standing outside in the cold, for the authentic Carling scumbag experience.

Next drink the Pear Cider, cos its tasty and Swedish, and not all Budweisery. At this point it is worth double checking the Budweiser has been safely disposed of.

Finally, tuck into the Guinness. Have a glass in the freezer for extra coldy creaminess.

    Rinse and repeat.

Going from the smooth taste of guinness to beer or cider is horrible.

If your gonna mix them, does it REALLY matter?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,349 ✭✭✭✭starlit

I think I am going to be sick...effin wine...:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,647 ✭✭✭✭El Weirdo

Abort! Abort! It seems that the Guinness is only 440ml. This might change everything.

Ah nice - I like these puzzles.

Pour a Bud into a pint glass and mix in half the cider. Repeat.

Then have the carling and then finish with the can of Guiness.

I don't think there is any other non-mad option myself.

Right. I've decided on the following course of action:

    Guinness
    Carling
    Bud (yuk, but there's alcohol)
    Pear cider

I heard that pear cider gives you the sh1tes.

With a decent beer it shouldn't be that bad but in this case I agree, but that's kind of the point. Doing so will instantly prove the superiority of Guinness to muck like Budweiser & thus spur better alcohol buying policies in the future. With beers with less fizz & more flavour (a decent Trappist for instance) the transition would be much more pleasant. In any case it's a better anti-hangover route, as I can attest by experience.

Beer to cider or cider to beer isn't too bad. I don't like beer but beer homemade or out of other countries that are sweeter rather than too bland and barley taste or bitter taste aren't too bad. Love beer that tastes similar to cider! Can really drink beer on its on have though coors light is the only I could drink on its own but would put seven up with it to sweeten it to almost taste like cider!

Bulmers is nicer than ko....blah berg but the ko...blah berg is sweeter though but plays havoc on the systems more so than bulmers I like both ciders but bulmers is nicer!

I cannot stand Guinness though tastes like black coffee though I like coffee but stout ugh!

Fuck sake Weirdo, man up. Do you have a kitchen sink? Do you have a plug? Do you have a claw hammer? If you answered yes to all questions, sit the 5 cans in there, take the hammer, commence smashing. Then jam your face into the foam and shredded metal littered sink and instigate consumption of whatever is contained within.
