    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/10/14/mobiles_covered_in_e_coli/
One in every six mobiles in the UK has got traces of poo on it, according to a new study.

    ...
"Although 95 per cent of people said they washed their hands with soap where possible, 92 per cent of phones and 82 per cent of hands had bacteria on them.

who are the 5% of people who admit to not washing their hands ?

Will you be able to borrow a phone again ?

Just as well there were telephone sanatisers on Ark B :p

    meh. bacterias on everything.

apparenlty if your toothbrush is within like 10 feet of your toilet youve been washing your teeth with shíte the whole time.

best not to think about these things.

That wouldn't catch the eye so quick though lol!

5% who admit to it. I'd say it's actually higher going by the amount of ladies I see not washing their hands after being to the toilet.

Unless you take a crap whilst wearing a disposal biohazard suit (with appropriate hole in it obviously) then fumigate the place it's pretty much impossible to avoid a certain amount of contamination. Even if you wash your hands with soap (& I sincerely hope we all do) after the deed you've still turned the top on with contaminated hands, so when you turn it off you dirty your hands again & then your phone the next time you use it. Bit scary if you think about it too much so best not to.

"Eh, Pherekydes, can I borrow your mobile? I've no credit on mine and I want to ring my sister."

"Sure. Don't mind the smell, though. I didn't have time to wash my hands after you know what."

Most of the contamination is spread by handling cash.

Poo granules. On your phone, on your toothbrush, in your cereal.

I'm surprised it's that low. If they did a full test they'd probably find semen on a lot of phones too. a lot of people aren't too diligent when it comes to washing hands
