Just wondering if this TV can receive Saorview and if I need to set it to 625 or 405 lines?

405 will work just fine but you will have to readjust the horizontal hold and vertical hold! :D

Well if this 1936 Marconiphone works with a Freeview receiver that TV should have no problem with a Saorview receiver :D

You can also place some tinted plastic sheet over the screen to bring out the vibrant colours of Saorview.

Not exactly a design classic though; even by the standards of ancient tvs it's a bit of a brute!
