Saorview and DAB intertwined?

    Quick question i was asked and didnt have the answer, im in a saorview area and can get all the new radio and tv channels on my tv, will a DAB receiver pick up the radio stations?

    DAB is completely separate from Saorview & broadcasts on VHF band III. You'll only receive DAB from a DAB transmitter.

    Shoite, cheers for that, my tv has no real way of turning off the screen so it must remain on when im chilling to RTE Chill, thanks though!

    Get yourself a Picnic box which has a pair of RCA audio connectors so you can play it directly into a HiFi. It has a remote and display so you can tell what channel you are tuned to (apart from what you are hearing of course).
