The Colour Black on a PVC Door

I'm thinking of getting a uPVC door which will be supplied by these guys.
I'd love to get it in the colour black, but have been told that black may warp quicker.
Now I know that black attracts light quicker, but how much damage could that do in an irish climate?
The back garden faces east, so the sun doesn't hit the front in the summer time until after lunch.

    Thoughts?

    Mod abuse, instant ban :p

We have black windows (18) and doors (2) in our house since 2005 and the 2 doors get direct sunlight for nearly all the day and there is no warping issues with ours.

I think that if the quality of the door is good then warping shouldn't be an issue.

You might get a better answer on DIY/Construction though about that.

I can move this to the DIY or do a search maybe over there and see, but myself and my mate have black both provided by a company in the midlands and they haven't warped, as of yet anyway!!!

I just needed someone to convince me I wasn't wrong in my need to get the black.
    You have.
However, if my black door warps anytime over the next 15 years, I'll be site banning you.

    Thanks for your help.

Lads lads, theres nothing wrong with the compostie doors from Profile Developments.

They have 1 of the lowest U-Values for a composite door (0.205),and they also are a lovely design of door.

I had a Black Georgian 6 panel door made for my house by them and it is a quality bit of kit.
