When you try to sign up for it, 5GB is free and 50 is $19.99.

Yeah, I think you have to sign in through the app. They were probably afraid of Apples free 5GB.

Although after I got a popup message saying free 50GB for 50 days? Maybe the offer was too successful?

signed up through the app about a half an hour ago and got the 50GB bonus. All very painless...

Uninstall and re-register with a different email maybe??

100MB limit on file sizes unfortunately and there is no desktop uploader/downloader unless you pay for the business account.

Was the same when I signed up via the TouchPad app a few weeks back!! I asked them why some users got the 1GB file upload limit and others only got the 100MB limit and they could not give me a definitive answer so I told them to remove my account!

    Cheers,
    M

It's a bit ambiguous but I would imagine the 50GB is for "life" otherwise it'd be pretty stupid:

BTW, you need to sign in once via an iOS device to get the 50GB and ensure you are running the very latest version of the Box.net app (2.4.3).
