Where to buy a breaker bar in Dublin

    Hi all,

After having tried a foot-long adjustable spanner with a short length of pipe to unscrew a badly seized part, I'm looking for a breaker bar (at least 2 foot long) and a 32mm deep socket (has to be 6-sided, not 12-pointed to avoid rounding). Halfords' web-site lists both these items but I'm not a fan of buying from Halfords after having received poor customer service in the past.

I've already checked McQuillans in Capel St. (my normal first port of call) and a local Woodies but neither stocked them. I was hoping Dublin-based DIYers might be able to recommend some good shops with reasonably priced good quality tools.

    Thanks in advance.

There won't be any customer service involved surely? If they have what you want, just go in and buy it.

The halfords tools are actually decent quality.

I've a halfords breaker bar some where and it's not too bad. Most motor factors will also stock similar... €20 or so should get ya something.

Might be hard to find the 32mm with 6 flat sides....
