Any idea if we're going to get the chance to preorder these in Ireland like the UK?

If you go to the UK Store you can preorder (although at this point shipping won't be until a week or two after launch, likely due to stock shortage), whereas Ireland just has a coming soon October 28th advert on their store and no way to preorder.

Has anyone heard whether this will move to preorders closer to launch or is Ireland the forever alone territory that will have to play last man standing where stock is concerned?

I can't see Apple offering pre-orders to us when they are struggling to meet demand elsewhere. We'll be lucky if we can even order it online from the 28th. It might only be available from the networks at first.
