Spotted this quote in a different thread but does this smoke mean anything in general?
I happened to dip it a few weeks ago and was furious to see smoke coming from the rocker cover (oil cap)

    I'm showing my ignorance :o

Problem: Piston blow-by pressurises the crank-case and forces the oil/fuel vapours out the cap when it's opened.
Solution: Close the oil filler cap.
