    What's the dealio with the medical centre-can I just stroll in to the waiting room or do I have to phone ahead to book an appointment?
    Sorry for the stupid question...I am but an ignorant first year :rolleyes:

    you go into the office opposite the waiting area and they give you an appointment.

    You then come back before that time, they call your name and then you stroll in....
