    Hi guys im new to this.

    If you can help it would be great.

    I currently have a mains fed electric shower (Ground floor)
    the pressure in the shower is not so great esp when you heat it up.

    I am thinking of running a new pipe work from the cold cistern tank in the LOFT (3rd floor) to the shower and have a triton t90xr pumped shower installed.

    Can you advise if this will improve the pressure ?
    If any one else has this shower their experience of the shower in terms of the pressure is provides.

    Keep the shower run the pipe from the tank as planned and fit a triton T450i pump. It will run perfect and better than a T90

    Cant remember but any single impeller does the job so about 150-200

    Joey,there is a Triton t90z electric pumped shower on the Daily Mail yesterday,is this a newer version and would it work instead of my t90 on gravity feed with a straight swap.

    Embarrasing i know but for 1 squids i will put up with it,at least its not the Sunday Independant.It says on the (ahem)paper that it will fit in to the same water and cable entry as the old t90 so will this work for my system and if it does is it going to give me that hotel shower power or is it going to give just a small bit more pressure and is it much harder on electricity as our lights go a bit dimmer when the shower is switched on?.

    It wont give a hotel shower sorry. Its not that powerful because it has to heat the water as well.

    Hi Tom. Joey is right. I install these showers. They are handy in that you can shower anytime of day without worrying if there is any hot water in the tank. But if you want to feel like you had a real shower you need to totally re-do your shower. First you need to bring hot water supply from hot press to your shower. Then you need a shower mixer set mounted on the wall & last but most important you need a seperate pump.
    The T90Z is the same as the T90si & T90XR. No difference in pressure.
    <snip>
    Thanks Barry,our shower has hot water the whole time when we pull the cord,i just thought these had some little amazing in built pump that gave it the extra oomph that the t90 doesnt have.
