Wanted: Riser bars and/or short stem with a rise

    I've a nice steel frame which I'm using to put together a mountain bike from old/spare parts that I've borrowed and/or had hibernating in the cupboard under the stairs.

    However, when I installed the handlebars, they're about 90mm lower than the saddle and I'd prefer to have the bars close to the same height. Unfortunately, I can't increase the height as the fork steerer was cut with just enough room for the stem. Also, my 100mm stem is too long for me.

    If anyone in Dublin has bars with a decent amount of rise and / or a short stem with a high rise angle, suitable for a 1" fork steerer, I'd be happy to do a swap or to pay a reasonable sum of euros. I'd be more than happy to do the travelling to meet up and would prefer not to go the postal route.

    Couple pairs of riser bars lying around. 25.4 and 31 mm and stems, nothing for a 1" fork though...

    Hi studiorat, I'd be happy to take the 25.4mm bar with the highest rise for a reasonable price. How much are you looking for? (Seeing you have a few different bars lying around, I presume you're not interested in a swap).
