Logic: Drum Samples to Usable Kit

    Hi all,

I have 4 snare hits, very soft, soft, medium and hard that I recorded during a sampling session.

I want to assign these to one key of my keyboard and have each sound trigger relative to the velocity played.

How can I do this in logic pro 9?

    Thanks in advance,
    Z

EDIT: Also I want to use the sound of the room from the overheads, I know I can mix the waveforms in soundforge but can I do this from within logic itself before creating the multi layered sample? Advice would be much appreciated!

You can do it all in EXS24. Probably best to have the overheads assigned to a different output to the close miked sounds, so you can mix appropriately in your songs. RFM! It is actually a very good manual.
