Socom Gear/Tokyo Marui Mag Compatibility

Hey all, looking at getting a new pistol. I know TM are a fantastic brand, have had them before in the past and they were fantastic. However the price point and 1911 Socom Gear range is a bit more attractive in my opinion. So my question is, are their mags compatible? There is something about a 1911 with extended mags that calls out to me, plus the TM mags are fantastic quality from my past experiences.

So can anyone help me out on this? All help is appreciated :)

I don't think they are compatible - the WE/Socom Gear mags have quite a deep divot in their mags (just at the valve), whereas the KJW mags (a direct clone of the TM ones) have a shallower divot. As such, the KJW mags do not fit the WE/Socom Gear. I'll take some pictures later for you :)

    Nope, SocomGear/We 1911 mags won't fit TM 1911 mags..
Different shape, WE/SG is more square.. Valve protrudes more on the TM..Valve knocker is different...ect

Perfect lads thanks for that. So I take it then that Socom Gear and WE are clones or in some way connected while the clone of the TM is KJW? And would those mags be compatible?
