    Genzyme

No mention of actual jobs but one hopes that 150 million is going to generate some.

True enough but it's a vote of confidence in the region if nothing else.

As an aside whatever happened to the much vaunted new Servier plant in Belview? Anybody know? It was announced over 3 years and to my knowledge nothing has happened down there yet? Did they just consolidate/expand their Arklow plant instead? It was much hyped at the time a few years back and not read/heard a word since...

ooh yeah totally agree with ya there and genzyme certainly have a foothold in the waterford area for a long time to come yet, they were also offered the land on the opposite side of the carraigpherish road to expand if needs be in the future
