Private Primary School in Kinsale?

Are there any private schools in Kinsale? We are moving to Kinsale from the US in about 15 days and I am undecided what school I want to put my boys in. They are 5 and 6, kinder and pre-k. I am unsure if the term private school means the same over there as it does here, so help me please! Private here is a school you pay for run by a private party and public school is run by the gov't (do the terms have the same definition there?) I am still learning the different words for things so please excuse my ignorance. Any advice would be welcome, I have searched online via google but I haven't come across anything.

As far as I know there isn't any fee paying junior schools in Kinsale ! The closest & most popular would probably be the Christian Brothers College Preparatory School in Cork City - I would imagine their is a waiting list but get on the phone asap to them.

"Public" schools in Ireland are generally of a high standard,is there a particular reason you want to find a private one?

Check out St. Multose primary school in Kinsale.
I believe it's the only one in Kinsale not run by the Catholic Church.
If you want a Catholic school then there are plenty of options in the town I think.

Best of luck - super town to live in.
