I wish I had everlasting soles. I go through about four pairs of shoes a year. Contrary to popular belief, being a Christian does not grant your shoe soles everlasting life.

In some parts of Africa, there's a famine going on, so some unlucky people will die of hunger. In America, there's an obesity epidemic, so some unfortunate people will die of being too fat. In Ireland, (thankfully), the worst of our worries are the economy, so some otherwise surviving people will die of poor healthcare due to cutbacks. Then your soul will either go to Heaven if you were good, or hell if you were bad. Simples!

OR....
there is no imaginary daddy in the sky, no life after life ends, and some people were just unfortunate enough to be born in an environment where their life expectancy was low as opposed to somewhere else where life expectancy was higher.
