Online Gaming Network - Any ideas???

    Trying to play Fifa online but have no idea how to do so in Rye Hall and with the whole password thing restricting it has anyone got any info on the subject??

    Online gaming is blocked, only traffic using TCP ports 80 (http) and 443 (ssl/https) are open and are intended to be used for web browsing.

    You could try the gaming society, they might organise some fifa nights.

    We're working on acquiring a copy of Fifa for the society, but if you have it for the 360 and want to play it you could bring it along on Tuesdays from about 7pm until 10pm in JH7.
    We may also contact the computer centre about some leniency in terms of the port blocking, but we're not holding out much hope, for the reasons Alt_Grrr mentioned earlier.
