Right Im planning on making one of these FWUJTY9GM4N0YXX.SMALL.jpg

Just need to get some suggestions as to what type of glue to use. I was thinking about using some wheatpaste, anyone know if i'd need a coat of varnish over it then. I read somewhere else about stuff called mod podge but I dont think you can get that where I live so if anyone could give me some info that would be great, thanks

I think you will find that the nearest alternative is PVA which is readily available anywhere that sells art type stuff. I am not sure that you would use it for a final coat, I think you would need an acrylic varnish.

Def PVA and a spray on Varnish after wards, loads of coats!

If the original surface is glossy you'll need to sand it or paint it with undercoat.
