Just seen the papers on Sky news, tomorrows papers reporting that Michael Owens brother is involved in the bet rigging scam in England!

They just showed the headlines, no details.

Modern society, and all it's ills, summed up in 32 multi coloured pages of ignorant tit-brandishing reactionism.

Owen's brother put a bet on Rooney staying at Man Utd 1 hour before he signed his new contract. The situation probably deserves to be investigated because it does sound a bit dodgy.

Morally questionable perhaps but not illegal. For the sake of seven hundred quid I doubt he actually influenced the outcome unlike the other "alleged" scam. Inside information rather than fixing a result. Big difference

I'm pretty sure I'd be trying to take the bookies for a few quid as well if I knew something they didn't.

I can't help but think Owens brother might be wiser to get some inside info from Michael about a race at Chester.

Thanks to Monkiesocks on the humour forum:

So Rooney got sent off against Montenegro.

What were the odds of that?

    Let's ask his dad

OMG this is too funny, no seriously it's *too* funny, better delete it before someone dies from the laughter of it all.

If you got nothing to contribute to the thread then don't. Your just trolling in here. All you've done is slag people off in here.

    Quoted from the rag:

"Last night, it looked as though he was in the clear — after police confirmed they had made "initial inquiries"

A non story, even that rag thats printing it admits it in its article.
