Electronic Drum Kits

    Hey All,
I am thinking of trying to learn the drums however due to living in a rented house in a fairly quiet estate I dont really want to be driven off into the wastes by my neighbours so an accoustic isnt a viable option. Just looking for some feedback from people who have learned/tried to learn using electronic kits, will it do the job for learning the basics?, I only have a budget of max 300 euro so any advice relating to the cheaper kits is also much appreciated (what to look for/avoid etc.).

I bought an electronic set from Lidl a couple of years ago, the make was Volt. It's a great kit for learning / practicing and I've even played a small gig with them putting them through the PA. I think I paid around 300 lids at the time, however I haven't seen them since so I don't know if you can still get them.

Have a look at thomann they have kits starting under 300 lids.
