Anybody having any problems with Channel4's 4OD. When I click on a programme to watch an error message pops up which says " an error has occurred trying to play the chosen item". I tried on a different laptop, but the same message pops up. Any help would be appreciated.

Yep. Is it an Eircom problem?

I get the feeling that 4oD have gone like BBC Player and have introduced IP address checks into their software to prevent people from outside of the UK from watching their programs. I too have an Eircom connection. I just tried 4oD and I got the same error. However, I have a proxy avoidance tool that I tried that fools the system into thinking that I am in the UK, and the program worked fine !

What proxy tool are you using?

A free version of Tunnelbear. You don't get much with it. You have to upgrade to Premium to be able to watch unlimited shows but it is too pricey.
