Botox wearing off after only 10 weeks!!!!

I got botox injections in my forehead approximately 10 weeks ago and even initially the results were only ok , I still had a tiny bit of movement when I frowned there but was told this was as good as it gets. Now ten weeks later it has definately started to wear off even though again I was told it would last 4-6 months......I'm not sure how to proceed and if I should return to the same place, is it just that my sytem has flushed it out sooner than expected or was the place I attended a bit dodgy?I definately was expecting a more longterm result.

Has anyone had a similar experience in that it wore off quite quickly?

Are you sure that it is wearing off, or is it just in your head?

I used to work in a plastic surgery clinic when at uni, and we would always have people coming back in saying that botox had worn off after a couple of weeks, when it hadn't at all. They just became obsessed with looking at their foreheads for any sign of movement.

I think you might have been expecting a bit too much from the results. It sounds like you went to a reputable place, beacuse they still gave you a slight bit of movement after the treatment. Also, 10 weeks is a fairly long amount of time, I wouldn't expect much longer out of it tbh.
