Howdy People! :D Not even finished my FIRST project and I'm already considering another build! Guess Ive been bitten by another species of Airsoft Bug but enough with the cheesy analogy:pac: what I wish to know is where can I find the biggest airsoft silencer known to man??????

The best I found was this one but its a bit plain looking and as you can see bellow Iam going to use a CAS-V front set and I'm hoping to run a rather large Silencer through it for an Integrally suppressed look

    177224.jpg

I appreciate all and any help and constructive criticism as i feel i'am going to get allot of the latter

Also I wont be jumping into this project anytime soon as I have broken the bank too much as is so this will be a very very very very long time coming :o:(

But once its made yee will be the first to know after a few close friends ;)

You could use the aug phantom but that is an expensive way of doing it, tbh I would say you would be better of just making with PVC piping

How powerful are these guns? Would they hurt if I got shot in the leg with one or are they just like pellet guns?

This aint the place for that mate :D yes they are sortof like the poundshop pellet guns but these are "BB" guns as they project a 6mm plastic Ball Bearing :) and yeah it hurts a bit thats why by law you must wear eye projection whenever you play the sport but why not have a look over the airsoft threads and forums or you just yano...... START YOUR OWN THREAD!:D

    May Nice Day Have You!:D

Any chance you could quote that piece of law for some of us:confused:

Back to your question though, build one! As pudding has said use ABS or PVC pipe :)

You cant play airsoft without eye protection its ilegal why? Are you looking to start an argument on the merits of not using it? :D
Look find me a sight that will let you play without any protection and i wont call it a "Law" anymore but seeing as you can not play without it its as good as and anyone who does think its a good idea to not use it should be droped in the middle of Iraq with one rifle one mag and no gear and see how they get on :D

Again I dont like plastic of the abs or pvc variety's I think i will just get the one thermo suggested in the second link and attach it to 7" barrel :)

not technically a law but might as well be one

all sites should have insurance all insurance requires eye protection to be valid

If anyone is player or even just shooting without eye protection they should get a Darwin award, not as if it takes much effort to put a set of shooting glasses on

Find me a law that makes it illegal and I won't call your claim ridiculous anymore.

As for the Iraq reference, stop being sensationalist. That's one of the most pointless and irrelevant analogies I've ever seen.

Make one, how Long is the body on a 6cell mag light? About 550mm is say at a guess from the end to the threads for the bezel.

It's not in any way illegal to play without eye protection, just insanely stupid... Regardless you still won't break any law:rolleyes:

    I dislike disinformation

Yup. With your post. It's false, misinformative and sensationalist. Read quoted posts for details.

As for a suppressor, have one made. Nobody sells a two foot long suppressor off the shelf because, well, nothing uses a two foot long suppressor.
If you don't want to make one out of plastic, which I understand, you'll have to approach someone with a lathe and ask them to thread an aluminium pipe for you to accept two end caps, which they'll also have to make. One with an 8mm aperture, the other with a 14mm CCW thread.
You'll also need to come up with a bracing system, as a tube that long will be exceptionally unstable. Personally, I recommend leaving an out barrel to take up 3/4 or more of the length within the suppressor tube with a quick disconnect connection of some point on the end, and at the entry point to the on the body side. This will give structural bracing, barrel support and considerably more rigidity while still allowing enough room to pack acoustic wadding to effect a reasonable pitch change in the guns report.

Why is it that most posts on boards end up getting argumentative, it started as " Where can I find A BIG F'CK OFF SILENCER???? ", then peeps start arguing about eye protection and law. That's not just running off topic, its a whole new f'ckin thread being started:confused:

you might be able to get a silencer with threads on either side and use an adapter to attach a few together :)

Exactly what I wad about to post. The gemtec halo silencer is threaded at both ends. And I'm sure it isn't the only one. I sounder would they thread together end to end? As one end is internal and the other externaly threaded

Have you considered a silencer off a GR25/SR25??

Can't remember the exact length, and of course you need the adapter block that fits onto the barrel.
