I know by rights this should be in the TV forum, but it's really just a thread to confirm I'm right really. So AH it is...

My friend says the best Simpsons character is Chief Wiggum and I say it's Mo Szyslak.

    I reckon I'm right, though.

Mr. Burns during the time the show was at it's best. Such a deliciously evil bastard.

Or Leopold, the crazy looking guy in the brown suit who used to be always around superintendent Chalmers.

I always love the bit where the students think he's the new principal, he's seething with rage when in fact he just introduces Ned Flanders. :pac:

Burnsy all the way. He is a misunderstood genius and a job creator.

(In Mr. Burns' office, the Government Inspector gives Mr. Burns his report.)

Government Inspector: Mr. Burns, in 20 years, I have never seen such a shoddy, deplorable--
Mr. Burns: Oh look! Some careless person has left thousands and thousands of dollars just lying here on my coffee table. Uh, Smithers, why don't we leave the room, and hopefully, when we return, the pile of money will be gone.

(Mr. Burns and Smithers exit for a moment and then return to the office.)

Mr. Burns: Doh! Look, Smithers, the money and a very stupid man are still here.

when I was younger the line " that fool McGugget spilled runway foam all over Chuck Yaeger's Acura!" made no sense, not knowing who Chuck Yaeger was or what an Acura was lol

Troy McClure is my favourite character. fcuk Phil Hartman's ex wife, murdering bitch robbing us of him.

Phil Hartman again, played fantastic characters. Lionel Hutz has no unfunny lines.

actually Krusty as well, just for this line alone:

screw Fox as well for removing all the good clips from youtube (except this one obviously)

Has to be Reinier Wolfcastle, especially as McBain.

    "Ice to see you"

"McBain, in here we go by the book." McBain shoots book. "Bye book."

the English guy from this clip, which is still fcuking hilarious. more laughs in this 1.40 clip than the last few years of episodes put together, christ I miss when this was the best thing on tv.

Homer!!!! Season 2-11, one of the best characters in the history of television.

He just steals the show. Whenever they focus on someone else, it tends not to be as funny.

he's not even the same character anymore, they turned him from a stupid but well meaning boob into a retarded psychopath, I wanted to kill him for most of the movie as he just gets more annoying as it goes on.

God that might be one of the best bits on all of the Simpsons' (or television's) history, about 30 jokes (audial (sc) and visual) in 2 minutes and every one when isolated from the 'scene' is still comedicaly genius.
