Hey guys just wondering has anyone any advice concerning this,

I'm not sure if I can ask for advice on this since it isn't stated in the charter so apologies if it's isn't allowed.I have a Toshiba Laptop it's about 4 years old,has a 1.73 GHz processor,2GB ram and 250GB Hardrive. My laptop booted up fine yesterday, but I turned on today to find out it it would only get to the loading screen and just keep loading. So I switched it off and back on again and got the startup repair menu so windows checked for problems and then prompted me to restart.I also should add before I go on I downloaded Autocad 2012 which requires direct 10 x I think and that was the only change in software in the past 2 days so that might be the root of the problem.

Restarted my laptop and still the same problem so turned it off again and it checked the discs and prompted me to restart again so I did.Same problem and then I got a message saying windows cannot repair this computer automatically. So I went to advanced options for system recovery and there is 6 options Start up repair which I used already, system restore, windows complete pc restore, windows memory diagnostic tool, command prompt and Restoring the complete windows operating system.

So I tried system restore and restored to the last 4 known dates with no luck, tried windows memory diagnostic tool to check for hardware errors,no errors. So I checked online and it said something about plugging it out taking the battery out and holding the power button for 30 secs to 2 minutes no luck.So I reckon I have 2 options take it to PC World to get fixed or install Windows again.Apologies for the long winded explanation but would it best I restore it myself or pay 80 euro to be told the same or do you reckon they will be able to fix it?Does it sound like a major problem or a minor one?Is the laptop on it's last legs I was contemplating getting a new laptop aswell so this might be a omen.

Thanks in advance for any replies or advice.

Try reinstalling windows before you bring it anywhere, sounds like you've tried everything else not much else you can do except reinstall.
